North Shore Horseman’s Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting interest and education in horsemanship. The NSHA offers a series of Hunter and Pleasure horse shows with year-end awards in over 65 divisions with many special awards.

PLEASE NOTE PARKING MODIFICATIONS!!!!!!!

DO TO THE UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF RAIN IN THE LAST FEW DAYS THE PARKING AT TWISDENWOOD WILL BE FOR THE HORSE VANS AND TRAILERS ONLY. PARKING FOR CARS WILL BE AT THE GEORGETOWN COUNTRY CLUB AND THE VFW, BOTH LOCATED NEAR TWISDENWOOD. THERE WILL BE SOMEONE AT THE SHOW TO DIRECT YOU AND NSHA IS PROVIDING A SHUTTLE BUS TO GET YOU TO AND FROM PARKING AND THE SHOW GROUNDS. THIS IS AN UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCE FOR WHICH NSHA APOLOGIZES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND WE ASK FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING.
THE FOOTING CONDITIONS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE OR WE WILL CANCEL THE SHOW.

19. TAYLOR HARRIS CHILDREN’S HUNTER SEAT MEDAL
Entry fee $30.00
Finals presented by Randolph College
Open to Junior members of the USEF or CEF who have never competed in a National Equestrian Final with fences at 3’6” (i.e.: USEF. Medal, ASPCA Maclay, USET, CET or CEF Finals, WIHS Capital Cup). All competitors are required to perform over at least 8 fences 2’9” to 3’0”, spreads not to exceed fence height, with at least two changes of direction and a combination. The top 4 riders, or 20% of the first round competitors, whichever is greater, are required to perform at least two individual tests from USEF tests 1-19. An open numerical scoring system will be used in the first round

22. PESSOA/USEF HUNTER SEAT MEDAL Entry fee $30.00
Open to Junior members of the USEF who have not yet reached their 18th birthday. Fences not to exceed 3’6”. Application for membership may be made through the Show Steward.

23. ASPCA HORSEMANSHIP Entry fee $30.00
Open to Junior riders who have not reached their 18th birthday. Fences not to exceed 3’6”. A minimum of 12 riders, if available, are to show at a walk, trot, and canter, and shall count 50%. USEF tests 1-18. No participant may enter unless they are a Junior Patron, and must list their ASPCA number on their entry blank. Annual contribution to be $15.00. Application to be made directly to the Horsemanship Dept., ASPCA, 441 East 92nd St., NY, NY10128.

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF NSHA FOR POINTS TO ACCRUE FOR END OF YEAR RIBBONS AND TROPHIES. THE OWNER OF THE HORSE OR PONY MUST ALSO BE A MEMBER, IF NOT THE RIDER MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF THE LEASE FOR THE SHOW SECRETARY. IF YOU JOIN AT A SHOW THE POINTS FOR THAT SHOW AND ALL FUTURE SHOWS FOR THAT CALENDAR YEAR WILL COUNT. POINTS ARE NOT RETROACTIVE! ANY CHALLENGE REGARDING MEMBERSHIP MUST BE SENT IN WRITING TO THE MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY (address found on web page) ACCOMPANIED BY A COPY OF THE CANCELED CHECK.

ALL HUNTER SHOW TRAINERS AND RIDERS MUST PRESENT PROOF OF USEF & USHJA MEMBERSHIP AT HUNTER SHOWS. HAVE YOUR CARD OR A COPY OF IT WITH YOU! FINES LEVIED ON NSHA AGAINST NON-MEMBERS WILL BE PASSED ON TO YOU. IT IS THE POLICY OF NEHC AND MHC THAT ANY FINES REMAINING UNPAID WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SHOWING PRIVILEDGES. WE DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO RESORT TO THAT BUT WE FOLLOW THE RULES SET FORTH BY ALL OF OUR SANCTIONING BODIES.
